Optibac will be hosting a CPD accredited webinar in association with IHCAN magazine on Tuesday, 7th September at 6.30pm.
Graves’ Disease, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, hypothyroidism, goitre…..there are many manifestations of thyroid disorder. It is therefore important for us, as practitioners, to understand the nature of these conditions in order to ably support our clients.
Research suggests that autoimmunity is one of the major causes of thyroid dysfunction, but a lot remains to be discovered as to why this occurs. During this 1-hour webinar, we will explore the pathophysiology of different thyroid disorders and their relationship with gastrointestinal health. We will also assess the role of the gut microbiota in the development of thyroid disease, plus a holistic and practical approach to supporting these conditions in clinical practice.
